Problem Note 61479: SAS® Enterprise Guide® might not allow changes to an imported text file

Using SAS Enterprise Guide to import a text file with an extension other than .txt or .text, you might not be able to change that file within the properties. Specifically, when you open the properties dialog box, there is no change button next to the filename.
To circumvent this issue, make sure your file has an extension of .txt or .text before importing the file.
